Num13vs30-33
30 Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.”
32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature.
33 There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
Mathew15vs28
Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
Hebrew 10vs23-24
23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works
Oh the overwhelming
Never-ending
Reckless love of God
Chasing us mankind from the days of Moses in the old testament to these days of Moseses, Calebses and Joshuases
Yes the land they went to spy had giants
The land was well fortified
It was well developed to the taste of the people in the world at that time
Historians had it written that the walls that fortified the city could take ten cars piled together or arranged side by side in one order
That is massive
The other ten spies had their physical eyes at work
They were hopeless
They had no faith at all
Love is missing in them
They said we were like grasshoppers not just in our own eyes but also in the eyes of the people there
How on earth did they know that they were like grasshoppers in the eyes of the people there
Are they not supposed to be spies
They went there as decoy not to be seen by anyone
They always see and complain about the difficulties
They never saw anything good in themselves
But Joshua and Caleb also had the same physical eyes
But they would rather activate their spiritual eyes than these physical eyes
Caleb said we are well able to take the land
This is the kind of mindset God wants from us
He wants us to have faith
He wants us to believe in Him
He wants us to believe in ourselves
To believe that all things are possible
The scripture says that the things that are seen are temporal
But the things we do not see are eternal
There are more to be seen in the spiritual world than in the physical world
Pray that God will open your eyes
They activated their hope in God which in turn ignited their faith
They built great faith from then on
The other ten spies gave the children of Isreal bad report but Caleb and Joshua gave a good report
Are you among those people who always see the negative in every endeavor
Have a change of mind
God wants you to see it the way He sees it
What would Jesus do
Do you speak bad words into the air
Are you always pessimistic
You belong to the family of these other spies
Allow Jesus into your heart today and begin to confess and profess success
Your profession matters
What you say is very important
Negative words breeds negative impact
Prophesy into the future like your father would want you to do
See the goodness in it
Live by faith
Those men were not seeing the problem as God would see it
They were hoping for a defeat
The principle of faith is embedded in this event
Caleb singled himself out
He said to Moses yes the problem is there but we are able to go and take the mountain
To possess the land from Jordan to the sea
from where you are to other continents in the other part of the world
Though the giants, scorpions, snakes, demons and devils may be on our way to hinder
We will crush them
And God will surely give us victory
I have a testimony to share
A very good one indeed
From a grateful heart
And I am grateful to God to be in a position to share this
I was meant to travel to a West African country for a business meeting but I also need to renew my schengen visa for another trip to Europe at a later date
The meeting in the West Africa country was urgent need to be there for one week
I had to stop the process of applying for a schengen visa then went for my trip came back within one week
Now I can spend another two weeks to one month waiting for the Schengen visa to come out after my application
To cut the long story short
I applied
I was waiting
I was expectant
My submission process drained me out because of the collection center system glitches
Surprisingly I got a call that I need to travel in the next 5-10 days and now my passport was no longer with me because I had submitted it to the embassy
I cannot travel anywhere without a passport
But you know Schengen visas usually take at least 2 weeks to one month before the embassy responds to you
I prayed to God and trusted that they will fast forward my application and answer me within one week
I remembered I specifically told God that I want the process moved forward because of me
God listened and heard me
Heaven was listening to me
Heaven always listens when we pray
Especially when we pray in the name of Jesus
Tell me who has the power to oppose us
I prayed
I hoped
I had faith
Exercised faith and did not even think about it anymore
To my biggest surprise
I got my passport back in less than 72 hours
Not just that alone my passport was stamped with a Schengen visa that will be valid for another 2 years with access to over 25 countries in Europe
Wow
Our God is awesome
Nothing prayers cannot do
Jesus answers prayers
I am so grateful to Him
God answers when we call
Caleb sees the God that parted the red sea
Taking the land of the giants is not difficult for Him
The other spies even said the land consumes the people that live in it
Oh for real
Then everyone there should have died
They were filled with fear
They were filled with doubts
They were filled with unbelief
Already they were defeated in their minds
Your mind is the center of faith
Fill it up with hope
Against hope despite the fact that his body and Sarah body were dying he believes in hope
Talking about Abraham
To be a friend of God like this man
Live by faith
Always see the good in every situation
That is the secret of greatness
That is one of the cheat codes of life
Live by faith
The battleground for all achievements in life is in your heart
Never settle for the negative the devil presents to you
Never accept the mediocre position satan wants you to be
See it as Jesus sees it
Be desperate to see the hand of God
Be desperate for speedy answers
That woman impresses the Lord
She was desperate for a solution
The love of a mother drove her to Jesus
In that love she had great faith as said by the Lord Jesus and recorded in the Bible
Hold fast your faith
Stand strong in what you can see
See it as Jesus sees it
You are blessed
You have courage
God will bless you with spiritual eyes to see deep things
Amen
